Using the Library: Printing & Scanning

Printing

Black and White and Color printing are available from any public computer located in the Library.

Printing costs are standardized across the CSM campus, as follows:

• Black and white = .08¢ ($.15 double sided)
• Color = .35¢ ($.68 double sided)

Wēpa is the printing system currently used by SMCCD. This system allows users to store documents in a cloud-based platform and then print from a Wēpa print station anywhere. Log-in to your Wepa account through OneLogin (SMCCD students, faculty,staff) or create an account for free. To use Wepa to print you will need to:

1. Deposit funds to your Wepa account OR purchase a print card atht elibrary for $5 OR pay with a credit card or PayPal account at the print station
2. Send your document to print from a library computer using a print code OR upload documents from:
   • Your computer or mobile device or any library computer 
   • USB
   • Cloud
   • Email
   • More ways to print
3. Release your document from a Wepa printing station on any SMCCD campus

Scanning

Book and document scanning are available at no cost. Files may be saved and sent to email or stored directly on your USB drive, Google Drive, or smartphone/tablet.

Photocopying

Photocopying is not currently available at CSM Library but the scanning station can be used to save and send documents that can be printed at the library using the Wepa system above.
