LibKey is an API, or application programming interface, from Third Iron that works with the CSM Library's subscriptions to provide quick, one-click access to the full text of journal articles available to users. Currently LibKey has four products available: LibKey Discovery, LibKey Nomad, LibKey Link, and LibKey.io.
LibKey works to connect our users to articles within CSM Library's subscription databases, as well as Open Access resources. For accessing subscription content users may need to log in to their OneLogin account when connecting to the full text of articles, but anyone using OneSearch will be able to access Open Access articles without additional logins.
LibKey only currently works with materials that utilize DOI (digital object identifiers) which is usually limited to journal articles and some books; magazines, newspaper, and other non-DOI materials does not currently have LibKey linking.
